5K Run & Fun Walk




The 16th annual St. Marys Tailgate For Cancer/Jean Sheaks Memorial 5K Run Fun & Walk will be held in conjunction with the 2025 St. Marys Tailgate For Cancer on Saturday, October11th, starting on South Street behind the St. Marys Theater.


Again this year, tribute pieces will be lined up along the path of the 5K Run and Walk and at the Tailgate venue.


Event Schedule:

Oct 11th, 7:30 AM EDT - Race Day Packet Pick-up Begins

Oct 11th, 8:45 AM EDT - Race Day Packet Pick-up Ends

Oct 11th 9:00 AM EDT - National Anthem & Balloon Launch

Oct 11th, 9:05 AM EDT - 5K Run Start

Oct 11th, 9:10 AM EDT - 5K Walk Start

Oct 11th, 10:05 AM EDT - Awards and Prizes (Approx)


All runners and walkers have the chance to win some great door prizes after the race.


The Bloody Mary Bar returns for the 2025 Race!

Annual Tailgate For Cancer  5K  Run and Fun Walk

  • Where: Behind St. Marys Theater/South Street
  • Distance: 5K for all runners/walkers
  • Registration link to come!
  • Race-Day Sign-ups begin at 7:30 a.m.
  • 5K Run begins at 9:05 a.m.
  • 5K Walk  begins at 9:10 a.m.
